It's been one of
those days today (too many errands this morning, a headache for Paul this afternoon, bad takeaways for dinner this evening, and now a tough cricket game on television...), so I thought this would be a good time to dig out another one of our shots taken at the
Green Point flea market last month. I like the zebra stripes and giraffe spots - which design do you like?

Bad luck about the cricket...umm, but the photo is a huge success! Off now to do Sunday running around. Scones for afternoon tea today as mum comes over.

I like the swirly zebra lines - looks a little like Polynesian design =)
Well this is one of those pieces of art that looks like one thing and then someone tells you it is something else. I looked at this thinking these were "eggs" made of wood and handpainted. Then I clicked on the picture and saw the enlarged view and noticed each egg had a gray line around the outside edge of the egg. Then it dawned on me these they are cups or little dishes of some sort.
Abraham Lincoln
I'll have one of each! They are great!
This is a cracker! Love it.
Yeah Abe, I obviously knew they were bowls, but if I force my eyes they can look convex ... you know, like those black and white drawings that have a young woman and old woman controsted - at first you only see one, but if you "twist" your mind you can see the other.
>sally, yeah, let's not talk about the cricket, shall we? Tuesday will be better, Tuesday will be better...
>abraham, you're right, I hadn't noticed that they look like eggs if you focus a little differently! They're wooden bowls though, about the size of a dinner plate.
I can't choose, they are all very beatiful...One of each?
Gee, they all look great.
