Autumn's on its way...
posted by Kerry-AnnePaul took this shot from the Bloemendal Wine Estate, which is hosting a Champagne and Oyster Festival this weekend. The farm is set on the slopes of a tall hill, and from where we were standing we had the most exquisite 360-degree views of vineyards, vineyards and more vineyards... it was breathtaking.

ohhhh, so beautiful looking nature! :)
Hello Kerry-anne,
Congratulations!!!!!!
I have knew Chris (the MadScientist) for sixteen (16) years! So the winner is YOU, Kerry-Anne! Congratulations…
It was after our GCE ‘O’ Level while waiting for our results, and we were in the same Orientation Group in a pre-university instituition. Our group name is “OG5″…and it’s amazing, looking back how long ago it has been! wow, 16 years!!
Kerry-anne, please write your mailing address to zannnie@gmail.com so that I can send you a postcard from Singapore!…Once again, Thank you for joining in this little game and hope you had fun!
Zannnie
I like your photo. It clearling has great depth of field. And the sky is so blue. It is hard for me to think you are going into your winter season and we are trying our best to get into spring and summer. It is freezing here in Ohio again this morning.
This shot could have been taken in Champagne, near Epernay for example! Champagne and oysters are two words which sound very French to me! Happy Easter, Kerry-Anne and Paul ( Paul, did you buy some chocolate when Kerry-Anne was shopping?)
Beautiful photo of a stunning landscape!
>zannnie - YAY! I love winning! :) And I loved Singapore, although I only got to spend 3 days there; so your postcard will be most welcome. I look forward to going back sometime, but in the meantime your blog keeps me in touch with your beautiful city.
>abraham - it's a little hard for us to believe that we're going into winter too! It's still so hot, and the sky is SO blue.
>alice - no, no chocolate unfortunately... paul's protecting me from myself... :) Happy Easter to you too - your easter eggs look lovely, by the way!
Thanks for the lovely comments.
Abraham - thank you! The DOF makes you kinda feel like you're standing there hey?
Alice - Alice! shhh... I have a feeling that I'll be in trouble... ;) I had the best of intentions, but somehow lacked in follow-through. We saw TV footage of people in Brussels having their renowned delicacies - so perhaps tomorrow will be a sweeter day (but shhh.... but don't tell Kerry-Anne).
I love being in open fields - much better than concrete jungles!
TNvuSV The best blog you have!
