Northern Spring

posted by Paul
This post is for all of you in the northern hemisphere as you celebrate the arrival of spring. It was taken a few days ago by Grant (a friend from work) while on a family trip to Butterfly World.

Butterfly World's attraction is the warm butterfly enclosure housing hundreds of free-flying butterflies. As a visitor you can walk among the butterflies and, reportedly, have them flock to sit on you if you wear the right perfume.

Isn't this one just beautiful?

That's one incredible photo. Must say though if you ever want to see butterflies do yourself a favour and go to Canada in the Spring time. Toronto is unbelievable...

The photograph and the butterfly are beautiful. I think that environment would be delightful to the senses and education for studying the behavior of butterflies.

A beautiful transparent butterfly. I really like the photograph.

I came to thank you for visiting my blog, yesterday, and for your comments about Patty's last radiation treatment. She was so pleased that I heard from so many people, including Eric, and I know it made her day extra-special. She was also surprised that some of you also visited her blog and left comments there. So thank you for your visit and comments. Being new to the community, it was a big surprise to us. Thanks again.

Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing. There is a butterfly enclosure in Massachusetts, also (and probably many other places). Neat experience to "live" with the butterflies!
