A visit to Signal Hill
posted by PaulSignal Hill (from where I took this photo of Table Bay Harbour) is known for its Noon-day Gun, which has been fired as a time-keeper at noon each day for the last 200 years.
I can remember that when I worked in Cape Town's CBD the sound of the gunshot rumbling over the city each day marked the arrival of lunch-time :).

A wow shot. It must be nice to go to places like this and see such scenes spread out below. Nice photograph.
I hope you get to see the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak that came to Brookville, Ohio yesterday. It is the first one I have seen since we moved here 44 years ago.
