Shapes in the field

Just past the flying club (in yesterday's post) we found the farm, Groot Phesantekraal, host to these sheep (Kerry-Anne's favourite animal). In doing some writing work for the farm, Kerry-Anne's learned that the land was originally part of the land given to Oloff Bergh by Simon van der Stel, first Governor of the Cape of Good Hope in 1679 and the person after whom the town of Stellenbosch is named.

Kerry-Anne would love New Zealand - there are more sheep than people!!
I think the effect is marvelous. A peaceful place. Almost Biblical.
