Manchester England England

We went to watch a production of the musical Hair yesterday afternoon, at this little theatre in Camps Bay (aptly named Theatre on the Bay). The production was brilliant, with loads of energy and spunk (and impressively flawless American accents from the all-local cast).

The Theatre on the Bay is situated just one block up from the beach, so it's always great to go and see a show there.

Love the music and isn't it amazing it has spanned the years from the days of the hippy to the Y generation!!!

I love the music too Jules, and I think the message has new relevance now, what with the war in Iraq, global warming, poverty, and so on. I guess every generation has issues it feels strongly about - it reminds me of a line in that Mike and the Mechanics song, "Every generation blames the one before..." So true...
