Table Bay in the distance

posted by Kerry-Anne
This is the view from one of the streets in Oranjezicht, above Cape Town's city centre. We're having lovely weather this week again - clear blue skies every day, with no clouds in sight. And it's almost been... warm. :)

A beautiful photo. What a lovely place! You know, it's been rather cool here as well. Cold air from Canada is keeping us cool (and I'm not complaining not even a tiny bit :).

Great view.
Glad the weather is warmer. Weird thing is there is an email going around PNG/Australia at the moment with photos of the sea frozen, and it says the photos were taken in Cape Town yesterday (3 July) - obvious it is not Cape Town if the weather is warmer!!

Thanks for the comments, Fenix! Jules, I'd love to see that email (someone else mentioned it too, and it was supposed to have been taken last week during our storm) - can you send it to me perhaps, at info@redballoon.co.za?

Okay, did some googling, and found those photos. It seems they were taken in Romania a couple of years ago... I'm sure it gets a lot colder there than it does here. :)
