I've done the sunset cruise on Le Tigre (a while before Tigresse), which features in my new novel, 'Out of Air' (info at http://naomiestment.wordpress.com/my-books/). This is written specifically in tribute to SA, Cape Town in particular and the sea in general. So easy to write about a place I adore - enjoy it there!Naomi

Hi Paul,

First want to say I LOVE your blog, especially being a Capetonian in Joburg!

Second, I agree with Pamela about the champagne – with a setting like that sparkling wine will do fine! Eventually it forced the trip to have an early end but I would not have missed it for the world - although I did find it really hard to photograph. And as for the pseudo champagne, after two glasses you really don't mind!

We went on the Tigresse for the sunset cruise last February – except instead of a sunset we had a thunder storn that we watched approach and then end up over table mountain and the city bowl and it was FANTASTIC!
