A big old skyscraper
Compared to other cities, Cape Town doesn’t have a huge number of skyscraper-type buildings, so especially for residents, this shouldn’t be such a tough question.

It’s either the Woolies building on the corner of Adderler and Strand or it’s the Old Mutual building where all the larneys live. Or the BP building on Tulbagh/Tibult Square.

The Woolies building, cnr Strand and Adderley (1st coice) or Golden Acre (2nd choice)
I’m sure this is the Old Mutual Head Office Building in Darling Street which was renovated into extremely upmarket apartments.
I think it’s the Woolworths building on the corner of Strand and Adderley Streets.
It’s the building on top of the Golden Acre.

The Telkom building in Lower Long Street?
To those who guessed that it was the Golden Acre office tower – you’re absolutely right. Well done!
Perhaps you don’t know that the 108m, 28 floor, tower marks the original Cape Town shoreline that was reclaimed in 1930. Here’s a map showing exactly where the building is.
