Ten points to the first person to guess exactly where I was when shooting this photo. Photographers, it an interesting vantage point – that’s actually not very difficult to find and offers a few interesting perspectives on the city.
Haha, yeah, I should’ve dropped a pin, but I got distracted by looking at the photo itself and discussing it with my wife. It has been a while since we were there and it brought up some good memories of visiting the District Six Museum just up the road.
I’d guess on the top level of the parking lot on the corner of Plein and Castle St? http://goo.gl/maps/a0h79
Ha ha, pretty much Dieter. I was hoping to find a pin dropped at the exact location in the Google map, but that’s close enough.

I thought it was from the golden acre…used to work on the 17/18th floors for a few years waaay back.
Yeah, I so wanted to go higher up in the building but Security wasn’t too keen.
That’s an impressive building in an impressive setting. Nice shot.
Thanks Petrea – it is a little dramatic, with the backdrop of mountains and cloud.
