A Cape Town City Hall vantage point

A Cape Town City Hall vantage point

Ten points to the first person to guess exactly where I was when shooting this photo. Photographers, it an interesting vantage point – that’s actually not very difficult to find and offers a few interesting perspectives on the city.

I’d guess on the top level of the parking lot on the corner of Plein and Castle St? http://goo.gl/maps/a0h79

Ha ha, pretty much Dieter. I was hoping to find a pin dropped at the exact location in the Google map, but that’s close enough. :)

Haha, yeah, I should’ve dropped a pin, but I got distracted by looking at the photo itself and discussing it with my wife. It has been a while since we were there and it brought up some good memories of visiting the District Six Museum just up the road.

Yeah, I so wanted to go higher up in the building but Security wasn’t too keen. :(

That’s an impressive building in an impressive setting. Nice shot.

Thanks Petrea – it is a little dramatic, with the backdrop of mountains and cloud. :)
