About Skyrove
Skyrove provides its customers with adhoc access to the Internet by means of WiFi technology. Your cellphone or laptop computer (in fact, most devices with a wireless network card and browser) could use Skyrove hotspots to browse the Web or send email.

How it works
If you see a Skyrove logo (like the one above) in a coffee shop, restaurant or some other place, you should be able to access the Internet. The first thing that will happen when you open your browser is that you’ll see the default Skyrove webpage with information on how to connect to the Internet.

There are two options for buying “Web credit”: either you can buy a voucher from the establishment (coffee shop, restaurant, etc.) that operates the hotspot, or you can enter your credit card details in the browser window and buy credits online (and don’t worry, Henk’s a nice guy, your credit card details are in good hands).

Once you’ve bought your credits and entered your voucher number, you’ll have full access to the Internet. And, what’s awesome is that if you don’t use up your voucher credits you’ll be able to use them at any of the many (there are hundreds) Skyrove hotspots across South Africa. Just check out their hotspot map!

For interest’s sake, the way Skyrove works is that the hotspot operator provides an Internet connection (which is normally an ADSL connection) and Skyrove provides the networking and hotspot technology. The operator and Skyrove then share the profits, making the operator, Skyrove, and the customers one big happy family. ;)
