Cape Town’s location on a peninsula, coupled with its many mountains and hills, makes weather a notoriously difficult thing to judge across the greater city. It may be warm and sunny in the Northern Suburbs, yet cold and overcast in the Southern Suburbs, and perhaps raining in Fish Hoek or Sun Valley.
Below we make use of various privately owned weather stations situated across the peninsula, each providing up-to-the-minute weather conditions such as temperature, rainfall and wind speed.
