How payment works
Once we receive your order we’ll confirm the details with you via email, supplying you with an invoice. You will then have the option of making a direct deposit into our South African bank account or transferring funds using AlertPay, our credit card payment gateway.

Shipping and handling (applicable to prints only)
Shipping costs depend on where you are in the world and how many prints you’re ordering. The average price for shipping within South Africa is around 50 ZAR and internationally around 250 ZAR. Before printing and levying any cost, we’ll confirm the cost and let you know.

Notes on photo size
Printing photos at a size of A0 (1189mm X 841mm) is only recommended when using canvas. In addition, certain photos may not be available at full resolution and it is for this reason that before receiving payment we would like to confirm that we have the digital photos available in the appropriate size.

The buying process

  1. Select all the photos that you’d like to purchase. (You won’t lose photos in your cart.)
  2. For each photo select whether you’d like digital copies or prints.

  5. Fill in the form at the bottom of this page.
  6. Click the “Submit Order” button.
  7. We’ll confirm your order.
  8. You’ll pay the outstanding amount.
  9. We’ll prepare the photos for you (removing the watermark).
  10. We’ll either email the digital photos or arrange the printing and shipping.

Licence Terms : Private Use Licence
Photos bought here can be used for private, non-commercial use. Purchased photos (printed or digital) may be given away as long as you don’t receive remuneration for them directly or indirectly. Please note that using photos for advertising purposes is considered commercial use but that concession is made for the use of photos within editorial.

Licence Terms : Commercial Use Licence
Please contact me if you would like to use any of our photos for commercial purposes.

Why photos are sold here under the “Private Use Licence”
We do provide photos for commercial purposes, but care needs to be taken when doing so, as model release contracts must be signed by persons recognisable in any of our photos. The price that we currently charge for a private-use licence is low enough to make the photos accessible, but only enough to cover my time in negotiating payment, prepping and sending the photos. I guess it’s clear that if someone would like to use our photos to help them make money that we should be entitled to sell photos with a commercial licence at a slightly higher price. :)
