It's 22h46 and we've just come back from the movies (went to see Mr Bean's Holiday).
Judging by the comments we received on yesterday's post, it seems as though you folks love butterflies - so, at this late hour and in the absence of something more exciting, here is another butterbug (courtesy of Grant again), this time sitting on its dinner, a lovely juicy-looking banana.

I'm used to see some nice ones in my garden but yours are unusual to me, and beautiful! Have a nice week end, Kerry-Anne and Paul.
I think butterflies are locals and not able to migrate across oceans. Our Monarch does go to and comes from distant Mexico but does it in a generational change (it is the child that finally arrives at the final destination not the parent).
Nice photograph. The colors are different on this butterfly.
