Today was a curl-up-under-the-duvet-and-read-a-good-book day - rainy, windy and cold. We didn't leave home, although Paul did venture outside late this afternoon during a break in the rain, and this is what he found: Snoopy, all kitted out in his winter gear, skiing down a very small slope on our driveway. I'm not sure where the snow came from though, because it doesn't snow in Cape Town. Perhaps he brought his own mobile ski slope along with him...
P.S. Congratulations to the Blue Bulls on being the first South African team to win the
Super 14 rugby tournament. Bring on France 2007!

It looks like snow to me on your wet drive way. Maybe Paul used some tricks to make the picture. It is cute.

Brrr! It's hard to imagine winter elsewhere! Looks like Snoopy is enjoying himself.
Looks to me like Snoopy has been defrosting your freezer for you!!!!
I am blowing warm tropical air to you as I sit here with all the fans on and the blue water enticing me down to the beach through my windows. I think Snoopy needs an island holiday - why not post him to me and I will take a photo of him on my driveway. Don't forget to pack his sunscreen, hat and boogy board.
Brilliant pic! Luv Snoopy.
So cute. And I agree - reading under the covers is indeed the perfect way to spend a winters day.
Kerry, I love Snoopy! Sounded like a nice cozy day... I like to do that on weekends, when the weather is such.
Jules, you're far too sharp for us - indeed, there's a little less frost in our freezer today. :)
We'll ask Snoopy how he feels about a little holiday, and see if we can locate his sun-gear... watch this space.
Glad you were all so welcoming to Snoopy!
Very funny and imaginative picture!
