We spent yesterday afternoon in the Boland Mountains at a holiday resort called
Goudini Spa, which is about 100km from Cape Town. The weather was perfect, making the drive absolutely spectacular. On the way there, we went through the Huguenot Tunnel, which stretches for around 4km through the Dutoitskloof mountains. I took this photo as we stopped at the toll-booth (it cost us R19 to go through the tunnel - just under 2 Euros, or around $2.70).
Have you ever paid the toll for the car behind you as a random act of kindness? It's such fun to imagine what they might be thinking when the cashier tells them that someone's already paid for them. :)

On my Blog, I show to you the “Right Street”, one of the principal streets of Martel. Cavity it is very except right-hand side, it turns in all the directions. Also have in your city, of the streets with a name in contradiction with the street? (Street example of the restaurants without any restaurants).

The view is very pretty! we don't pay for toll in Germany...
did you pay for the car behind you? that's really kind if happen to me :-)
Beetle, we have a few toll-roads around the country (I'm not sure how many exactly), but this is one of the only 2 (the other is Chapman's Peak) near Cape Town.
We didn't pay for the car behind us this time, but we have done it before. Maybe one day someone will pay for us... :)
I enjoyed seeing your toll gate and also the mountains and reading your story. You asked about paying the toll for another car. I have never done that. We have no toll roads or bridges or tunnels.
It is nice, however, to pay for the dinner of someone you don't know in a restaurant. You do that as you are paying for your own meal and nobody realizes it except you and the person taking the money.
I have good news:
The three baby robins are on their way to Meet the World. I miss them already. It was quite an emotional experience for me.

No I've never paid for the car behind and here in France toll-roads are so expensive!
Wow Abraham - that's a really generous thing to do. You'd want to be sure that the table you're paying for hasn't been ordering expensive French champagne all night though... :)
Bleeding Orange, yes, I remember our friend telling us how expensive the toll-roads in France were when we were there last year. So I guess our cheap toll-roads make up for our expensive broadband!
