At last, the falls of Tyger Falls
posted by PaulNormally only slightly more than a stream, the rain has coaxed this waterfall to pound the rocks below. I keep wondering if the apartments to the left of the waterfall have those noise-reducing windows. Can you imagine trying to sleep with the sound of rushing water? I'd be too scared to drink anything at least six hours before bed time.

Must be a great view - but imagine keeping the windows clean!!!
How did they get building approval to build that close - never seen anything like it!!!!
Have to disagree with you, I would love to sleep with the sound of falling water. Very peaceful,
Beautiful waterfall indeed
I'd love to stay in that hotel. I bet I could fall asleep fast with the sound of water. I love listening to that.
Wow! Amazing! Keep it up!

It might be a sound some people enjoy hearing like rain falling on a tin roof.
Nice photograph.

Years ago I rent a house (in mountain) close to falls like this one. Well the water's rumble was perfect to invite to sleep :-))
The problem, in my point of view, is that the building is too near to the falls and may be dangerous
fabrizio & jules>> If you see the falls in real life I think you'll see that it's not quite as dangerous as this photo makes it appear. I watched the construction and they've laid down huge foundations. Because of the water source above, the size it is now is about as big as it can get - I can imagine if the falls were bigger then it could be a problem.
Abe>> I don't mind the sound of rain on a tin roof :).
I wonder about the noise, too, but gosh, what a view!
My thought was similar to fabrizio's that it was built too close and a really violent storm might precipitate some rockfalls or even subsidence.
Most people get used to the usual noises around them so not problem there.
I see the falls as white noise after awhile. Gorgous picture.
