This plane belongs to another of our domestic budget airlines, Mango - unusual name for an airline, don't you think?I suspect that unlike Kulula, they weren't going for the camo look with this bright orange design...

Yes, unusual but catchy! The bright orange paint is quite a statement.
The airlines I use have animals on them - a flying kangaroo (wonder which one that is) and Air Nuigini has a bird of paradise - pretty conservative compared to this.
However domestic planes in Australia are pretty bright - Virgin Blue is bright blue and red and Jetstar is bright red and white.
our country's low budget airline Air Asia is bright red with tagline 'now everyone can fly'. I enjoy your blog n interesting photos :-)
