What's on tap?

I've mentioned previously that, for the most part, South African men (and some ladies) expect to drink at least one beer at a sporting event. I ran out of time to find a new picture for the day so I've posted this shot taken at one of the recent T20 Cricket matches. As you can see, besides for the safety aspect, it's become quite tradition to have drinks from plastic glasses - it would just not be the same to drink from a bottle at these events. I'm not sure if this is the case world-wide, so leave a comment below and let us know what people drink from at sporting events in your country.

Ah, but it doesn't taste the same from plastic. nice photo. great in fact.
Plastic beer... better avoid it!
Beautiful pictures anyhow!
Thanks Kerry-Anne for your reply to my last comment!
Meanwhile, I just left Bali and posted on Singapore at Blogtrotter.
Enjoy and have a great weekend!
Football you can only buy at the ground which you have to miss some of the game to try and get a pint but at cricket you can take your own "so i'm thinking of going to cricket more often" :)
mike & gmg > beer in plastic creates a special vibe and atmosphere at sporting events. It's not so bad, really ;). Thanks for the compliment!
eyerex > I'm surprised that you're allowed to bring your own drinks to the cricket... we're never allowed to bring our own :( so I generally have to drink a brand that I don't normally drink. It's all good though. Enjoy the cricket!
