Tintin today

posted by Paul
Since it's been a very rainy day and for the sake of readers who aren't quite as excited about the rugby results as we are, I decided to post a picture of this little guy - many kids' (and adults') comic book hero. I was surprised to find out that Tintin is actually quite the cult figure - just Google it. Perhaps I should have bought this wooden Tintin and sold it on eBay...

I like the style of the wooden figures. I especially like "el pinocho". ;-)

Hey, so excited you were did you notice who was the first on the congrastulations row?... ;))
The game wasn't great, but a final is win or lose game, and forget the rest...
Enjoy!

>>Gil, thanks, I did notice. :) I replied to your congratulations on my other blog. It was quite heartwarming to have all our friends from around the world stopping by to wish us luck before the game and congratulate us afterwards.

The Springbok win has sparked a lot of conversation in South Africa - conversations that we really need to have, and I can only hope that good things result. But I'll report on that in my sports blog when I have a bit of time to write.

>>Jenty, it was - a really cheap shop too! We're trying to sell our house at the moment and as soon as we move we'll go back and buy a few things for our new house.

I grew up reading Tin-Tin comics!

I have a small collection of it, then friends have too, we used to swap and read them.

Now... where is the collection now? Hmm...
