Toy Run with MINI

posted by Paul
A month or two ago Kerry-Anne bought a MINI Cooper from Auric Auto (a MINI and BMW dealer in Claremont). Auric Auto held a MINI Toy Run today, and invited Kerry-Anne and I along to join in the fun.
  1. Do you know what a "Toy Run" is?

  2. Have you been on one?
We have something else lined up for tomorrow, so you'll have to wait until Tuesday to find out exactly where we went and what we did...

Love the mini's, especially after seeing the way Charlise handled hers in "The Italian Job".

Toy Run - I'm thinking it's one of those where a group of people each take a toy as a donation to underpriveleged children. The bikers usually do that at Christmas time. Haven't heard of the mini drivers doing that before. Nice idea.

I have no idea what a toy run is. I can only imagine though that it is quite fun :)

I had a mini too (named George) - great little beast but it had a liking for blowing water hoses!!!

I am guessing it is like a fun run but for cars????

What a cool idea, instead of the usual motorbikes!! I love the photo. Which charity did they collect for?

I also thought of "The Italian Job" as soon as I saw the photo. :)

I am familiar with a "toy drive" and I see that you call it a "toy run".
Always happy to learn new things.
