Dragon Fly

We spent the afternoon at my company's end of year lunch, held at La Provence Wine Farm on the Polkadraai road between Stellenbosch and Kuils Rivier. The weather was hot, the view spectacular and the food... oh, the food... Keen-eyed-Kerry spotted this Dragon Fly sitting first on a discarded cigarette butt and later moving to this piece of grass. My colleagues found Grant and I amusing as we lay on the ground trying to get the perfect photo.

I'd say your grounded efforts were successful - GREAT photo! The dragon fly puts me in mind of a flower fairy tending to the plant -with legs outstretched, and bent at the waste.

Hey man, this shot is terrific! i wish i could be that LUCKY dragonfly; no stress! it lives it's life to the fullest. damn why am i human?!!
