The vines of Constantia

Groot (translated as "Great") Constantia is one of the farms established by the governor of the Cape, Simon van der Stel, in 1684. Back then the purpose of the farm was to produce food and wine for the Cape colony - and by the look of things this national monument is still producing wine today.We had dinner at Groot Constantia's Simon's restaurant with a few friends from *Camp this evening.
