Life on the farm

posted by Kerry-Anne
Another shot from Zevenwacht Wine Estate... Scenes like this always give the impression that life on a farm is so placid and relaxed - until you consider getting up at 5am to tend the vineyards, working round the clock during grape harvesting season, walking the vineyards in the heat of the midday sun and dealing with all the logistics that go into keeping a farm running profitably. What do you think? Keen to swap your fast-paced city life for a simple life in the country?

Hehe! Wont be any swapping from me! Im happy to live in a tiny(not so much anymore...) sea-side town!
Luckily my dad is a wine maker so I know all the effort that goes into keeping a wine farm up and running!
Thanks for the great blog!

Well I think perhaps I could give up my hectic 'city life' here in the UK for the Wine Farm Estate...mind you why it's so hectic I've no idea..I am after all retired!!

Yesterday and todays photo's are both very lovely relaxing photo's and I've noticed the beautiful blue skies!!
