View from a hill

That's Table Mountain's famous table-cloth - often formed on summer days by thick white cloud spilling over the top and down the front of the mountain. It might be a gorgeous day in the city, but trust me, when that cloud comes over, it gets bitterly cold on top of the mountain. The other thing to remember is that when the cloud comes over, it becomes very difficult (nearly impossible, in fact) to find your way around on top of the mountain. Visitors are always warned: take warm clothing if you're going up the mountain, no matter how hot it is when you start up from the bottom - that way, if you do get lost on top of the mountain, at least you'll be able to keep warm until the cloud lifts. In case you missed it, read our story of how not to climb the mountain here.

The photo is awesome, this is a common sight?
That is really very pretty, and not a common sight where I live~!
I am not up to normal yet, so am only trying to pop in here and there. As I get better I will try to get back on schedule.
Abraham Lincoln in Brookville home from hospital.
Yes Jim, a regular sight in summer. That's how the mountain got its name - from the 'tablecloth'
A beautiful view of your beautiful mountain.
Very pretty photo!! It looks like it was taken from Signal Hill.
