Shopping in the rain

Another rainy day in Cape Town...I was caught unawares by today's heavy rain, but these shoppers in Claremont seemed pretty prepared, all dressed up in their raincoats.
I hope the shoes at the stall on the left didn't get damaged during the downpour.

I love rain .. so nice to sit in the backyard and watch it rain, having a cup of tea. Plants and flowers and earth smell their best before, while and after the rain.
Gerald, at least we're SUPPOSED to be having winter now... :P
Nabeel, you're absolutely right, I also love the smell of rain. It wasn't as much fun being stuck in the traffic though, but at least Paul was driving, not me!
