An unidentified vehicle

If anyone's able to identify what kind of car this is I'd be most appreciative. The badge on the back is just a little unclear for me to read and I'm not able to identify it from the shape alone. I'm guessing that it dates back the the 1930s or 1940s, but that's about all I know.To answer the question in your mind: I'm not sure why I didn't just walk up to the car and read the badge... I'd have to guess that I'm just terribly unobservant and never even saw the badge at the time.
Update: Kerry-Anne apparently did walk up to the car to have a look at the badge, and she says she's pretty sure it was a Citroen.

I think it looks like the cars seen in France during World War II. I googled it or chose a 1938 model or a 1939 model and found lots of them but this one I thought might be it.

See what you think.
@abraham lincoln: Ah, yes, you seem to be correct Abe. Kerry-Anne did point out to me that it was after all the Bastille Day celebrations, so it should have been obvious to me that the car was a Citroen.
I am not sure I know what kind of car this is but it sure is a nice one! I like the color!
Hi, your car is a Citroen, check the link (http://www.citroen.com/CWW/fr-FR/HISTORY/CITROENHISTORY/1930TO1939/1939.htm), My family in France had one, it is a great car and offered in those days extraodinary features, it was alos sadly used by the German Gestapo and SS which used it extensively during the second WW.
