It was eerie how Robert-the-seal kept his one eye focused on me as he frolicked in the water below the pier I was standing on. I wasn't sure if he was hoping that I fall in and join him for a swim, or if he was in fact just being cautious of the scary human. Personally, I think I think the former is a more likely reason. :)

Great photo!!! I struggled to get a good one of the seals near the pier when I was there last year. They were awesome to watch though :) Hopefully next time I am there.

Beautiful looking seal! But usually i do not like this creature :)
Thanks Nikki. :) They’re so quick to dive under the water that it’s really difficult to get a nice sharp pic. (Perhaps you noticed the feathery edges in the large version?)
