No fun here!

No fun here!

No fun here!

No rollerblading, no cycling, and certainly no skateboarding! I guess these restrictions aren’t for no reason. This promenade along the Sea Point coastline is a spot where hundreds of people stretch their legs each day. Imagine HMYs (high-speed mobile youths) racing along this path. :)

It’s a simple reason: CPT is besieged by scores of Germans. And in Germany, fun is only limited to a few days in the year. :D

Do you mean that Germans get allotted only a few hours or perhaps a few days of fun each year?

With Germans, it’s like switching on and off a light. Once a year they celebrate carnival. Often it looks forced. “If it stands in calendar, we have to be funny.” I promise you that the day after Ash Wednesday the German’s corner of the mouth point down. During the rest of the wear, Germans bear only a homeopathic dose of fun. You know every stereotype has a true element. ^^
